Designed by new creative director Jeremy Scott the collection features a colour palette of silver, gold, and sparkly fabrics, contrasted with a lot of neutral colours very reminiscent of the 1990’s pop culture and perfect for the festive season ahead.
Fourteen years after their first designer collaboration, Moschino‘s long-awaited collaboration with H&M has finally been unveiled.
Taking inspiration from his previous role as Creative Director at Adidas Jeremy Scott the collection has a sportswear-meets-evening aesthetic, with pieces including cropped puffa jackets, hockey jerseys and parka dresses all embellished and accessorised with chains and studs however not to be taken to seriously the collection also includes motifs of Mickey Mouse, Barbie and graffiti art.
“I wanted to create the most MOSCHINO collection ever. I tried to include all the ingredients you would expect from one of my shows — cartoon couture mixed with a streetwear vibe doused with hip hop worthy amounts of bling to create a totally MOSCHINO look” Scott said
Prices for the collection range from £25 to £300, making the pieces far more affordable than regular Moschino items. The collection (which also includes menswear) is available to buy in selected stores and online.
