Swarovski has recreated the Hong Kong skyline using its Crystal Fine Rocks

Swarovski has partnered with DFS Group to open a dedicated space on the ground floor of T Galleria by DFS, Hong Kong, Canton Road.

The new space is the first in the travel retail channel to feature a Crystal Wall decorated with 282,000 Swarovski Crystal Fine Rocks. Created using small, double-pointed Chatons positioned tightly together, Crystal Fine Rocks are a thin, lightweight and flexible crystal appliqué, which can be applied to textiles, soft furnishings and accessories of all sorts.

Swarovski Crystal Fine Rocks have been used to depict the Hong Kong skyline, complete with some of its most iconic buildings and a traditional junk boat sailing on the harbour.

Karen Tse, Director Travel Retail APAC at Swarovski, said: “The Crystal Wall adds a dynamic and elegant vitality to the space and demonstrates one of the many ways that our crystals can be used to enhance and embolden a retail environment. We hope the Crystal Wall will inspire and attract visitors to T Galleria by DFS, Hong Kong, Canton Road.”

Matthew Green, Senior Vice President Watches and Jewelry, DFS Group, added: “We are pleased to partner with Swarovski to unveil yet another first for Travel Retail, with this stunning installation in our flagship store. This unique depiction of Hong Kong’s famous skyline creates a special sense of place and provides a dazzling in-store experience for all our customers.”
