Accessible free from 7pm to midnight, the Museum will also present its two current thematic exhibitions. The first of them pay homage to Yves Saint Laurent’s Autumn / Winter 1965 collection through iconic dresses-tableaux inspired by the work of the painter Piet Mondrian. “For me, to make a Mondrian or a Poliakoff a dress is to put their canvas in motion (…) then reported the creator. Poliakoff and Mondrian brought me an extraordinary rejuvenation and refreshment: they taught me purity, balance. ”

The second temporary exhibition pays tribute to the collaboration between the Maison de Couture and the sculptor Claude Lalanne – disappeared last month – through two dresses and a series of jewellery dating from the 60s to the end of the 80s.

Inaugurated in October 2017, the Foundation – Yves Saint Laurent Museum Paris should also present its first exhibition outside the walls, at the Museum of Tissus Lyonnais, by the end of the year.
